WHAT IS COFFEE CHERRY TEA?
It's a botanical tea made from the dried pulp of the coffee plant (which is a coffee cherry). After the coffee cherry is picked, the pulp is washed and pit is picked. (The inside pit is hard and it is what we roast at high temperatures to become coffee beans.) The pulp, skins, & shell of the cherry are dried to become the base of the teas.
WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?
We source our tea from a rarity in the coffee world- a female coffee producer high in the Nicaraguan mountains near the Honduran border where the coffee cherries are sun-dried by hand.
SO HOW DOES IT TASTE?
Nothing like coffee! Our coffee-cherry tea blends taste like herbal tea with subtle, fruity notes. We pair the coffee cherry pulp with organic dried flowers & spices to bring out the tea's natural sweetness.

HOW DO I BREW IT?
Our coffee-cherry teas can be prepared much like your favorite loose leaf tea but it is extra porous and can be re-steeped up to 8 times! A house favorite method is using a french press to brew 2-3 tablespoons for at least 5 minutes. Tea bags are even easier to brew. Drop into your cup and pour hot water over it.
