Way up on the tippy top of the tall Sierra Madre mountains in Oaxaca, Mexico sits a small, mystical town on the cliff of the Pacific Ocean called Pluma Hidalgo-- the region where our newest release comes from. The combination of the high altitude coupled with the coastal terroir makes the Pluma region coffees straight up magical.
And we just visited our favorite farms there in August & the special crops we selected are finally arriving. The first of our picks is a small lot from San Vicente. But, don't wait, we only have a small run of this exclusive lot. We are known for our groundbreaking single-origin blends where we create unique coffee journeys. But, every once in awhile, we unveil a single-origin release on its own.We get tasting notes of hot toddy, candied apricot and orange peel finish. Which is all a fancy way to say it's delicious, sweet & buttery. Perfect cozy cup. It will make you fall in love with Oaxaca. It's safe to say we're hooked & we're wishing it was a longer run.
